1. Your 21-day price lock
When you accept an offer, we lock the quoted price for 21 days. As long as we receive your device, and it matches the condition and details you provided, within that window, we honor the price you accepted. Prices for used devices move with the market, so the lock protects you from changes while your device is on its way to us.
2. Your ship-by date
Your order page and confirmation email show a ship-by date, which is 21 days from the day you accept your offer. To keep your locked price, send your device so it reaches us by that date. We recommend shipping as soon as you can after accepting.
3. If your device arrives after the lock period
If your locked price expires before your device reaches us, your quote is no longer guaranteed. We may re-evaluate the device at the current market price, which could be higher or lower than your original offer. If you have not shipped at all, your quote may expire and you can request a fresh quote at current prices.
4. Inspection can change your offer
The price lock guarantees the price for the device you described. When your device arrives, we inspect it to confirm its condition, identifiers, lock status, and that it is not blacklisted. If the device matches your description, we pay the locked price. If our inspection finds the device differs from what you described (for example, additional damage, a different model or storage, or a lock or blacklist issue), we will send you a revised offer.
5. The 7-day revised-offer window (and automatic acceptance)
We send a revised offer by email and post it on your order page. You have 7 days from the date of the revised offer to accept or decline it. If you do not respond within 7 days, the revised offer is automatically accepted and we proceed to payment at the revised price.
Because of this, it is important to monitor your email and text messages (including spam and promotions folders) after your device arrives, so you do not miss the deadline.
6. If you decline a revised offer
If you decline a revised offer, we will return your device. Return shipping is free for most devices, with some exceptions (for example, devices that are activation locked, financed, blacklisted, or grossly misgraded). The full return rules are described in our Terms of Service.
7. Getting paid
Once your offer is finalized (original or revised, including automatic acceptance), we pay you using the payout method you chose, typically within 1 to 2 business days. Please make sure your payout details are correct, as described in our Terms of Service.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, including the length of the price lock for future quotes. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. The lock period that applies to your order is the one shown when you accept your offer.
